Assad terrorists and their allied Shia militias violated on Sunday (June 18) the 48-hour “ceasefire” agreement announced on Assad TV on Saturday.
Orient News correspondent said Assad terrorists targeted on Sunday the opposition-held neighborhoods in Daraa al-Balad with mortars.
The town of Gharieh in Daraa eastern countryside was also attacked with tens of artillery shells by Assad terrorists.
On Saturday, Assad regime announced the unilateral ceasefire in the southern city of Daraa, claiming to support “reconciliation efforts,” according to a statement carried by Assad news agency SANA.
The ceasefire was set to take effect at 12 p.m. Saturday local time.
